Dave Hazlehurst

I have worked for over twenty years supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs, during which I have gained a considerable amount experience across many different roles and responsibilities, starting at the beginning as a Support Worker, and now as Managing Director.

I’ve always had a sort-of natural flair for supporting others to lead an active life and help them access the range of opportunities the community offers.

My knowledge, skills and experience in all aspects of caring for adults with learning disabilities has made me rigorous and thorough in my attention to detail in everything from the observation and care of each individual; to ensuring leadership and effective governance always drives towards improving quality of the caring and compassionate support we provide each person who has chosen AC(D)L as their care provider.

I’ve always been self-motivated and have high expectations of myself. I try to set the best example to our team that I can, encouraging everyone to be the best they can be.
